It’s going to be a great day for Nokia fans worldwide, the home of Nokia HMD has announced the re-launch of Nokia 3310. Well, the Nokia 3310 (2017) model was launched at the MWC 2017 back in February this year with 2G support. In many countries, the customers failed to get the 2G because the telecom operator didn’t provide them the 2G network. Though the Nokia 3310 2G variant supported all the features it lacked the 3G connection which is available everywhere. On that note, the company has announced the 3G variant in the Australian market.

Nokia 3310 3G Specs details

Coming to the specs details of the upcoming Nokia 3310 3G variants, the device sports a 2.4-inch QVGA display throwing out a resolution of 240×320 pixels. It measures 117×52.4×13.3mm in dimension and weighs 88 grams. It will run on Feature OS powered by Java. The device supports 64MB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB. It features a 2-Megapixel sensor with the LED flash on the rear side.

As far as the color options are concerned, it is expected in four hues such as Charcoal, Warm Red, Yellow and Azure. It supports a list of connectivity options which include Bluetooth 2.1, dual-SIM support, FM radio, microSD card and Micro-USB port. The device comes with a removable 1200mAh battery.

The standby time of the 3G variant is more or less same as its original. The standby time will be up to 35 hours while connecting with FM radio, up to 6.5 hours of talk time, up to 40 hours of MP3 playback time and up to 24 days of standby time. On the whole, both the Nokia 3310 looks similar and also shares most of the same specs.

Snake Game is back!

 

Further, the 3G handset again comes with preinstalled snake game. The phone got some new customisation options which will allow the user to rearrange the icons and selecting the color themes. It is expected that the 3G variant will hit in more countries than the 2G variant.

Though the Nokia 3310 has been announced officially by Pekka Rantala, HMD Chief Marketing Officer it will come for sale from mid-October. It will carry a price tag of AUD 89.95 (approx INR 4,600) in Australia. It will arrive with an average price of EUR 69 (roughly INR 5,320) globally.
